Polsen MC-POD Dynamic Podcast/Broadcast Microphone

About this item

• Tailored for Speech | 20 Hz to 20 kHz Frequency Response | Internal Shockmount & Pop Filter | Integrated 5/8-27 Mic Stand Mount | Rugged Metal Construction | Shielded Against EMI
• PODCAST, BROADCAST AND VOICEOVER: The MC-POD is an ideal microphone for podcasts, broadcasts, and voice-overs. Its intuitive design, easy setup, and durability mean you can use it at a moment's notice. If there's breaking news, or an event to discuss with your audience, just connect the MC-POD to your recorder, video camera, or mixing console, and you're ready to go to work
• PROFESSIONAL SOUND ANYWHERE: All the features of the MC-POD ensure broadcast-quality sound, whether you're recording in a studio or home office. Ease of use and professional sound will make the MC-POD your go-to microphone for any speech or podcast application
• TAILORED FOR SPEECH: Capturing the character of your voice counts for a lot in podcasting and voiceovers. With high sensitivity and wide frequency response, the MC-POD is tailored to capture the character and nuances of your voice so your audience will hear you with all your personality
• END-ADDRESS DESIGN: The closer you get to the microphone, the deeper and richer your voice will sound. This proximity effect is what makes the pros sound so good, and the end-address design of the MC-POD lets you get close to the microphone so you can sound like a pro too
• DYNAMIC MICROPHONE: The MC-POD doesn't require batteries or phantom power to operate. Just plug it in, set your levels, and go to work - XLR OUTPUT: The MC-POD's balanced XLR output ensures unwanted static or hum from interference won't compromise your signal and bring your project to a halt
• ADVANCED SHIELDING: Hum from electromagnetic interference (EMI) can occur when you record or broadcast from an untreated room. To minimize the interference that can cause a constant buzz or hum in your audio, the MC-POD is designed with advanced internal shielding that protects it against EMI
• CARDIOID POLAR PATTERN: The cardioid polar pattern rejects off-axis sound, focusing the sound directly in front of the capsule. That's a great feature when you're speaking from a location with some background noise, as the MC-POD will reject extraneous sound and focus on your voice
• INTEGRATED MOUNT: The rugged, all-metal mount has a standard 5/8-27 socket that's compatible with most mic stands or mic boom arms. It's also equipped with dual locking knobs for easy angle adjustment and a secure hold once the mic is in perfect position. The swivel capacity of this mount means you can position the MC-POD so it's never blocking your view of your guests or interviewees
• INTEGRATED WINDSCREEN AND POP FILTER: The MC-POD is designed with an internal windscreen and pop filter, so you can move close to the microphone without worrying your audience will hear distracting breath noise or those plosives - Internal shockmounting protects the capsule from handling noise or vibrations from the desk or mic stand that can compromise your audio. You'll be able to move or reposition your mic—or even accidentally bump the desktop—without the telltale clatter of handling noise
